The power of connection can change lives—and on Thursday June 26th, The Lehigh Valley and Berks Go Red for Women Luncheon returns, celebrating two decades of impact, advocacy, and hope in the fight against heart disease in women.

This year’s theme—Connectivity: Mind, Body and Heart —reflects the core of our mission: that real change starts with real people coming together. Whether you're a longtime supporter or new to the movement, this event promises to uplift, inspire, and empower all who attend.

A Celebration of Strength and Sisterhood

The Go Red for Women Luncheon is more than just a gathering—it's a call to action. Cardiovascular disease remains the number one killer of women, yet too many are unaware of their risk. This event brings together leaders, advocates, survivors, and community members to raise awareness, fund lifesaving research, and empower women to take charge of their heart health.

This year’s luncheon will spotlight the vital role our community and circle of friends play in this fight. Together, we can break barriers, provide support, and educate one another. Together, we can save lives.

Highlights You Won’t Want to Miss

The 2025 luncheon promises a meaningful and memorable experience for all who attend. Here's a glimpse of what’s in store:

  • Women of Impact Awards: Celebrate the bold, passionate women in our community who are making measurable changes in the fight against heart disease. These local champions have gone above and beyond to improve heart health and bring awareness where it's needed most.

  • Survivor Honoree Family: Prepare to be moved by the powerful story of this year’s featured survivor family., The Makhoul Family. Their journey through adversity and resilience is a testament to the strength of the human spirit—and a poignant reminder of why we Go Red.

  • Spoken Word Performance: A local artist, Chloe Cole-Wilson,  will take the stage with an original spoken word piece, weaving together themes of connection, healing, and empowerment. It promises to be a moment of reflection and unity that will stay with you long after the applause fades.

  • Opportunities to Connect and Give Back: From networking with fellow advocates to interactive educational exhibits and a heart-healthy lunch, you’ll leave feeling both informed and inspired.

A Legacy of Impact—Powered by You

For over 100 years, the American Heart association has served as a beacon of hope and action. For 21 years the Go Red For Women Movement has created and inspired positive change. The lives we’ve touched, the awareness we’ve raised, and the progress we’ve made—none of it would be possible without the unwavering support of individuals like you.

Every ticket purchased, every donation made, and every story shared contributes to a healthier, brighter future for women across our region and beyond.

Join Us. Be the Heart of the Movement.

We invite you to wear red and join us in celebrating the strength of women, the power of connection, and the hope that fuels our mission. Whether you come to honor a loved one, learn about prevention, or be inspired by stories of survivorship, your presence matters.
